Shawn,

One of the greatest addition to OG without having to "Upgrade" to FM7.x
would be the "Ability" to "download" zone files from QDNS server and
whenever we put ON HOLD a non paying customer, all the manual
customizations are not lost

For exaample, you create a new domain in OG, and this domain is also
created in QDNS with an appplescript that is obviously build in OG.

Later customer decides to make several changes that are informed to you,
more mx records, more etc...

so the DNS record has grown a lot, and happens that this customer does not
pay for it's services (he forgets to send the check).

OG very ovedient to the company policies "wipes" the dns info for this
customer

Customer notices that WE the people of the ISP has deleted all the DNS
records from our database an calls to PAY.

we are certainly happy and hit the RESTORE button, BUT.....

ALL THE INFO IS GONE it's restored only the basic info, but not the
"CUSTOMIZED" dns record.

So my suggestion would be

Before doing a HOLD Optigold should "GET A BACKUP COPY" out of QDNS (the
running config of qdns for the domain) and this record RESIDES on OG.

When we hit RESTORE, the backup copy resident in OG is restored.

Well, is an idea, and I really hope we do not wait for "7.0" :-)

Nice feature hum?
