Well nothing changes when you retry it. So that would make me think that
your SMTP server couldn't handle it. That could either be because of a
general overload of traffic, or it may have something in place that
limits the number of SMTP connections per IP address.
The company preferences allows you to set a pause between SMTP messages
just for that reason. Either that or send them out MAPI instead. :-)

Yeah... install it and then issue the start command. (Check the
FileMaker Pro Server for NT section of Chapter 2 of the Optigold ISP
manual for more info).
