No, I'm afraid we don't have an official list of step-by-step instructions. It should be a simple matter of: - Download the source code and decompress (DON'T USE STUFFIT EXPANDER). - Follow the instructions that come with it to compile (configure and make). - Either use the "make install" step and then move the necessary items from under /usr/local to the correct locations, or else hand-install. The items to install are: /usr/sbin/named /usr/sbin/named-checkconf /usr/sbin/named-checkzone /usr/sbin/rndc /usr/sbin/rndc-confgen /usr/bin/dig /usr/bin/host /usr/bin/nslookup Plus any manpages you want. It will install them (as I recall) in /usr/local/man/*, but Mac OS X expects manpages to be found under /usr/share/man.
