Our software does run on Laptops and Tablet PCs. No PDAs. Our program is not resource intensive (doesn't take a lot of horsepower), but buy as much machine as affordable and it will print faster. Laptops are less expensive than Tablets, but Tablets are more convienient because of the touchscreen. Get a color inkjet for the field if you intend to print onsite. Cannon or Epson I recommend.
