Yes I realize that. But your apple scripting of the command line
process doesn't contain that.
You said
"Command line functionality goes right to the command line via an Apple
Event.."
The command line needs 'do shell script' or it will not work on Mac
OSX.
All I'm asking is there some way to add 'do shell script' to the Apple
Event for the command line?
If it as added all command line events would work on both windows and
Mac OSX.
I've tested it directly with apple scripting and it does work with 'do
shell script' and errors on the identifier when that is not present. So
your current Apple Event doesn't appear to add the 'do shell script'.
