Search Again: TNS-12541: TNS:no listener From: sriram Date: Thursday, October 9, 2003 Time: 4:30:30 am Hi, I am trying to connect a database named VP5G on a remote machine. The database is Oracle 7.3.4 on Win NT Server. But I am unable to do it. I have made the necessary entries to the TNSnames.ORA file, but this is off no avail. Whenever I try to TNSPING on the Service , I get the following error: TNS-12541: TNS:no listener Help required. Thanks in advance.
