Search Again: Re: TNS-12541: TNS:no listener From: sriram Date: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 Time: 3:58:02 am Hi, I did the same , copying the TNSnames.ora file to said directory from the Remote Machine. but still it gave the problem, until i figured out that i was behind the firewall. I solved that problem and am able to connect to the remote machines databases.
