For a multi-user environment, you would need FileMaker product(s):
FileMaker Server (database server)
FileMaker Unlimited (web server)
FileMaker Clients (employee workstations)
For a single-user environment, you don't need anything extra.

Totally depends on what you are doing... If you are going to run the web
server, it should be outside your firewall, with the database server inside.

Yep. It's no different than a multi-user setup (other than just one person
can use it at once).

Again, totally depends on your setup... Could be anything from a single user
(single machine) setup to a client/server setup, web access only or a
mixture.

Yes... I would evaluate as many products as you can to make sure you get
