QuickDNS and Mac OS X 10.3From: Men & Mice Support Date: Friday, October 24, 2003
Time: 3:31:34 pmWe've put together a new knowledge base article based on our testing
of the Panther upgrade. It details what the Panther installer does to
an existing QuickDNS configuration and how to fix it. It also links
to another article that discusses upgrading your configuration files
for Bind 9.

If you prefer to start fresh with Panther, rather than upgrading,
you'll need to do the following:
- Back up your data (/var/named and /var/qdns).
- Install Mac OS X 10.3.
- Install QuickDNS. If installing a version prior to 4.6 (not yet
out), don't install Bind 8.
- Restore your data.
- Upgrade your data for Bind 9.
- Restart named and QuickDNS Remote.
