Search Again: Moving Zone From: QuickDNS Date: Thursday, October 30, 2003 Time: 10:50:39 am I'd like to transfer the HAAUGNET.ORG zone onto my host, NS1.HERZSTEIN.NET 216.61.157.169, which runs QuickDNS 3.5.3 for the purpose of moving 13 e-mail accounts from another e-mail server to one on my network without losing any e-mail. HAAUGNET.ORG is currently hosted on NS1.HAAUGNET.ORG 63.247.98.20 and I've pasted its record below. I don't have access to the HAAUGNET.ORG zone on NS1.HAAUGNET.ORG, but I'm the Admin Contact with NetworkSolutions. I've created the HAAUGNET.ORG zone on QuickDNS and I've pasted it below. Please review this for me if you can. Also, while I've created the zone, I did move it out of the Primary Data folder. Can I move it back and leave the HAAUGNET.ORG zone in my Primary Data folder while the zone's active on the NS1.HAAUGNET.ORG host. When I get ready to change can I advise my users and then just make the change with NetworkSolutions and eventually have all of the e-mail arrive at the new server.
