Time: 8:48:45 pmOk, I'm hoping that someone from Men and Mice is listening and can
answer this tonight.
I just screwed myself and put Panther on my server that runs the DNS.
Of course, it screwed up QDNS so I went to the knowledge base to get
the info on how to fix it. Followed the steps and it still has no
zones. I admit my mistake. I really didn't plan anything regarding
the DNS...mostly because I forgot that it was the server running it
(ah yes, to be openly stupid).
Also, in the meantime, I decided I would update my 4.0 to 4.5.1 that
I do have a valid activation key for...or so I thought. The invoice
shows "4.5 activation key: blah blah" but when I run QDNS manager
and enter that key it tells me that is a remote key and it is invalid.
So now what?
I've got to get something running tonight or face 100 users screaming
at me on Monday.
