Shawn, Sparklogic Mike and fellow Opti users--

The gang in my marketing department wanted me to pose the following scenario
and see if you could think of a way to make it happen. Here it is:

1) Our marketing department creates some sort of win-back promotion and
executes it in some sort of direct mail campaign to customer who have
previously done business with us but have since cancelled. These customers
are still in our Optigold database with a status of "Cancelled".

2) In the marketing piece, we'd offer some sort of promotional offer to
entice the cancelled customer to reactivate.

3) We would arrange for our radius servers to allow them online with their
old user/pass and then strong-arm their DNS to send them directly to the
Opti web interface. Here is where I need your assistance.

4) I have found how to allow customers with a Cancelled status to use the
Customer web interface. However, I don't think that there is any way for
them to reactivate their account on their own. I've tried paying any old
open invoices with a live credit card and yes, this will pay their bill, but
it leaves them in a Cancelled state.

In the end, I want a cancelled customer to be able to log on to the web
interface, make a payment for services and reactivate their account all in
one transaction. I realize that they will have to log off and then log back
on to get a new valid (not jailed) IP address.

Has anyone else using Opti tried this? Does anyone have any suggestions
that could make this happen? If the functionality isn't already in Opti,
would you consider adding it and making it an optional feature?

Thanks for your consideration,

Mike Bristol
