Questions (requests?)From: Troy Harris Date: Monday, May 10, 1999
Time: 4:10:29 pmOk, a few quickies:
1: Optigold opens real slow when we are using the runtime to connect to
our server running FM Por Server 3.0. I know it opens really fast using
Filemaker Pro 4.0 instead of the runtime, but we can't use FMPro
(without paying more money) because we don't have enough licences. Is
there anyway to speed up the runtime, or is there a newer version of the
runtime out?
2: We ran our first invoicing and customers were freaking out at the
experation date on the invoice. Is there a way to change that to due date
or something else? I thought I remember seeing something about this on the
list, but I couldn't find it.
3: For customers that receive only e-mailed invoices, is there a way for
optigold to print them an invoice if their account has been put on hold or
cancelled? The problem is that they can't receive e-mail if their account
is disabled.
4: How does Optigold handle when a credit card is rejected, using PC
Authorize HUB? Does it actually tell the customer that their card has been
rejected, or does it just show on their invoice that no money was taken
out?
5: We are still having a problem with Optigold not sending about half the
e-mails. We verified that the addresses are correct. We tried increasing
the wait time between e-mails, but that doesn't appear to be the problem.
Has anyone else noticed this problem whith their mail server? We are
running qmail.
Thanks in advance,
Troy
