I was just a little apprehensive about putting these programs onto my server with my actual clients to test it out. I guess I will have to to see if it works. Any recommendations? I currently have the Webserver for Optigold going through my MAC OSX box here in my office and the Database Server on a Mac G3 running Filemaker Server and the Database install for Optigold and that works fine. I pointed the A RECORD from the DOMAIN NAME to my OSX Box and it works fine when you go to the domain name, it points to optigold/filemaker pages on my osx box and all is hunky dory. When I installed the SSL and tried to go to https://domainname.com it did not work. The information in the ISP.pdf file for Optigold only shows the configuration of a WIIS Windows system. I also saw that there is a Redhat Linux Filemaker Server installation as well. I am going to look at digialpoints site again to see if I can find more detailed information about installing the WSC on my Linux Raq 4 box. Do I have to install Filemaker Unlimted on this machhine? And the Webserver install for Optigold? What are the exact steps to enable this on my Raq 4? Any help would be appreciated!
