How to For Linux Raq4From: After Dark Grafx, Inc. Date: Monday, December 1, 2003
Time: 4:14:44 pmI need the WSC to work on my Hosted Linux Box (Cobalt Raq4)
Please let me know if this is the correct way to do this:
1) I upload via ftp my filemaker unlimted 5.5
2) I install filemaker via the command line in ssh
3) I upload via ftp optigold installer and install the webserver
installation/
4) Since I have generated a SSL for my domain name and wish the pages to to
be secure on the web, I then upload and install the WSC for Linux.
Am I in the ballpark here? I really only need the WSC to secure the web
interface pages for security reasons. Everything works with this setup less
the SSL. My hosted clients are on my cobalt raq 4 running linux so that is
where I need to have the WSC? Please help!
I currently have this setup:
A) Mac G3 os 9 running Filemaker Server 5.5 and the DB Server install for
optigold
B) Emac G4 Osx with the Filemaker Unlimited and the Webserver install from
Optigold
C) Mac G3 OS 9 running client optigold and Filemaker 6.0
Thank you,
