Two Questions About Dates/Days

1. I noticed something peculiar with our invoicing. We had 2 accounts due on Thanksgiving Day. The clients had not paid by that date. The system considered them past due on Monday (we are set at 'one day' for a past due consideration). Does OG take holidays and/or weekends into consideration when calculating past due dates?

And somewhat related:

2. When a field is set up with a value for days (i.e., one day), does that mean one complete day has to pass? (If something is due on Monday, it programmed to be past due after one day, will a notice be generated on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday?) I am having trouble tracking a consistent pattern to answer that on my own.
