Hi,
I remeber reading this problem earlier when ORACLE was installed on
Windows ME. What is your OS?=20
one more thing I will like you to suggest is ORACLE 9i forces you to
change the sys and system passwords once the installation is complete.=20
Did you change those passwords?=20
you can try change_on_install password which is default for sys user =
if
you have not done so earlier.

Thanks
Sanjay

Subject: [Oracle] A password doubt

Hi folks!
I'm a beginner in Oracle and I've just installed Oracle 9i Personal
Edition.=20
When I click on the Icon "Start Oracle 9i Database" a text box asks for
a=20
password (without any user). What password is that and What is the =
user?

I've already tried tiger, oracle, manager, etc.

Thanks
Roberto.
