Credit Card Processing Problems

We just found out that somehow Optigold ran 4 or 5 charges for 10 of our
customers through to our Credit Card Processing place (BOA eStores) without
noting them as payments in Optigold. The only way we found out was when
customers started calling and telling us that they were charged 5 times for
what is normally a one time payment.

Has anyone figured out why this is happening?

One thing to note is that we have some sales associate computers that "hang"
whenever they try to put through credit card payments. One of these computers
was a brand new computer with a fresh install of Optigold.
