If you're using one of the latest versions of BIND as a secondary then
"auto-updating" is not an issue...any time you change the primary server's
data it will "notify" the secondary server of the update and they will be
synchronized.
Your additional "work" would be to add a new domain to the secondary's
config file and restart the BIND service...maybe 30 seconds of work?
