Search Again: Back Up Zones From: Brian Blood Date: Thursday, January 29, 2004 Time: 8:02:40 am I'm trying to back up the zones on my slave server that is running OS X 10.1.5 and QNDS 4.0 (there are NO master zones on this server) I'm connecting with v 4.0.2 of the manager like normal and running the Back Up Zones applescript. both the master dns server and the slave dns server are listed in the manager program. two problems: 1. the export script seems to find about 17 master zones to export. (not a huge deal, but an annoyance.) 2. the applescript doesn't seem to be able to find any slave zones, enabled or disabled. I put a "display dialog (count of theZones)" after the line that asks for this to be filled and the result is zero. This is quite annoying. I've tried running this script on an OS 9 machine and a 10.3.2 machine. same thing. any ideas? Thanks Brian
