ok, once i click on the hosts file. it lets me locate it, but i want to
be able to have it open automatically. Is there a way of doing this..?
Can i create a shortcut or something on my desktop...?

With FileMaker Pro 4.x, you must specify that you want to run
MainMenu.USR (since FileMaker allows you to open any file, not just
Optigold). In the Open file dialog, there is a hosts button. Press it
and it should show up.
