OptiGold ==> MySQL ==> VOP-RadiusFrom: Phillip Blancher - Digital Networks Date: Monday, February 2, 2004
Time: 11:29:53 amHello all,
I have been vested with writing all of the SQL statements for our install of
Opti-Gold to write certain information to MySQL. This is so VOP-Radius can
pull from MySQL an authenticate, and track usage.
I have a couple of questions:
1) I have been programming the new server events, for inserting data to
MySQL. The table that tracks usage (onlineusers) is written to by VOP-Radius
(according to the Sysadmin here) and I need to know how to pull the data
into Opti-Gold for Accounting to charge users who are on timed-accounts.
2) In setting up plans, I added a server action for updating the
authentication table in MySQL for the new plan. When I added the server
action it stated it would be an old-style server action. When I go into
Billing Info in OG and change someone's package, how do I get OG to trigger
the server events to modify MySQL. Am I doing this Bass-Ackwards or am I on
the right track.
Thanks muchly.
Phil
