Monitoring & OptigoldFrom: Avi Freedman Date: Monday, February 2, 2004
Time: 2:11:53 pmHi...
I'm working with a bunch of ISPs on multi-site/Internet performance
and uptime monitoring of their customers, and I was wondering
whether anyone now does integration of network/uptime data, per-
customer dDoS detection info, etc into the user login-able views
on Optigold (or vice versa).
For example:
You want to have one portal for users where they can see billing,
services, and monitoring info. For leased-modem or collo or
high-cap users, that might include bandwidth graphs, 95th percentiles,
etc.
Do people use Optigold as that front-end, or have a frame opening with
billing data, or something else?
Most ISPs I'm working with "intend to" build such a thing but actually
don't have as useful a user portal as they'd like for business customers.
Thanks,
