that MTA can't resolve newman@world2you.com. As Chris said, not a
(reverse) DNS problem.
mx1# telnet 65.16.71.232 25
Trying 65.16.71.232...
Connected to jetson.world2you.net.
Escape character is '^]'.

Connection closed by foreign host.
...yep, your MTA is screwed up, not DNS.

matching PTR and A records ok, the DNS is fine:
mx1# dig -x 65.16.71.232
;; ANSWER SECTION:
232.71.16.65.in-addr.arpa. 2H IN PTR jetson.world2you.net.
;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
16.65.in-addr.arpa. 2H IN NS alpha.birch.net.
16.65.in-addr.arpa. 2H IN NS beta.birch.net.
birch's DNS are authoritative and answering for that IP, not your DNSs.
mx1# dig -x 65.16.71.232
;; ANSWER SECTION:
232.71.16.65.in-addr.arpa. 2H IN PTR jetson.world2you.net.
