Re: Mac OS X 4.6.1 - follow up

Until I redo the primary dns server which is still 3.5.1 on Mac OS 9,
I'm using 2 different versions. I updated one domain in the primary
and waited 20 minutes for the secondary to pick it up. The TTL was set
to 400 and has been for a month.

It never updated, so I clicked on the server name and clicked the
reload option, which has always refreshed all the domains for me. As
well as the individual domain reloads when I click that way. It still
didn't update the one domain.

I then clicked on the domain itself and clicked on reload, and it
worked just fine.

My question is, does the new version not reload all domains if I click
on the server name and click reload? Maybe it's something with 10.3.2,
as when I first installed it last friday, I started getting complaints
from my users that they couldn't find the mail server. On monday, when
I walked into a flurry of complaints about this sporadic problem, I
focused on the fact that I had updated the dns server from 4.6 to
4.6.1. Sure enough, it wasn't answering outside requests. I
reinstalled and same thing. I could get it to transfer the secondary
zones, but not give answers to anyone requesting it. After much
scrambling I deleted all the installs on this server that involved qdns
and started from scratch with 4.6.1. Now it works, but I have this
problem. I didn't have any problems with 4.6 on the exact same server
setup.
