ROWIDFrom: William Carrera Date: Tuesday, February 24, 2004
Time: 1:17:46 pmI'm trying to purge blocks of data from different tables in the
database. But the purge package doesn't purge the data selected. The
only solution to this problem is to Export/Truncate/Import the data on
that table. The problem with this solution is that I have too many
tables and this process is too long to execute. It looks to me that the
main issue here is the ROwID.
<?xml:namespace prefix =3D o ns =3D
"urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
1-Can I re-generate those ROWIDs without having to execute that long
process?
2- Can I identify invalid ROWIDS and how to do it?
3- Is there an easier process to solve this issue?
Please, explain in detail, I'm just a beginner.
Thank you.
