Problem with SSL and Equifax certificateFrom: Chuck Rock Date: Monday, March 8, 2004
Time: 8:45:37 amSpecial customerI have a problem launching the scripts for one of my new
servers. I purchase a QuickSSL certificate which uses Equifax for root cert.
I found the error OG was giving me "ERR: Error loading URL: Couldn't find
trusted certificate" at Sun.
I tried what everyone there said to do which was import this root cert into
the keystore.
This is the successful import....
C:\Program
Files\Java\j2re1.4.0_01\lib\security>c:\Progra~1\Java\j2re1.4.0_01\bin\keyto
ol.exe -import -keystore cacerts -alias EquifaxSSL -file Equifax-ssl-2.cer
Enter keystore password:
Enter keystore password: changeit
Owner: OU=Equifax Secure Certificate Authority, O=Equifax, C=US
Issuer: OU=Equifax Secure Certificate Authority, O=Equifax, C=US
Serial number: 35def4cf
Valid from: Sat Aug 22 11:41:51 CDT 1998 until: Wed Aug 22 11:41:51 CDT 2018
Certificate fingerprints:
MD5: 67:CB:9D:C0:13:24:8A:82:9B:B2:17:1E:D1:1B:EC:D4
SHA1: D2:32:09:AD:23:D3:14:23:21:74:E4:0D:7F:9D:62:13:97:86:63:3A
Trust this certificate? [no]: yes
Certificate was added to keystore
I was not running OG at the time. I started it, and still got the error. I
restarted my computer, and still got the error.
Does OG use a different keystore for the SSL?
Does anyone else have this problem and a fix?
Thanks,
Chuck
