You cannot connect to both at the same time with one admin program, but you can have both versions open on your computer and be connected. Your situation is reversed, so your slave zones may update from the os x server. Mine did not as my primary was on OS 9. My steps were to alter the master server. then go into the slave server, click on the domain name, and then go to file->reload. Now that I have both at 4.6, they work as one again.
