Re: Can you use 4.6 with 3.5

Hi

OK I think I understand what is happening now. On OS X things are
slightly more complicated than OS 9...

QuickDNS Manager connects to QuickDNS Central,
QuickDNS Central in turn connects to QuickDNS Remote
QuickDNS Remote connects to the copy of QuickDNS server on the same
machine

In your case your QuickDNS manager is connecting to QuickDNS Central ok
which reports that it doesn't have any servers listed, but when you try
to add one QuickDNS Central cannot connect to QuickDNS Remote.

Does your QuickDNS server have QuickDNS Remote installed and running as
well as the actual QuickDNS server software?

Regards

Paul
