I don't need a "unique identifier" when I am processing someone's credit
card through my cardservices account.
If you will note, my email above to you is NOT requesting that I have the
"Name on Card" as the *unique identifier*.
I am asking that the "Name on Card" be a part of the information colated by
Optigold as part of the credit card transaction.
My merchant card account company has no interest in what my customer's
login name is, the merchant account does however have a great deal of
interest in the name of the cardholder. Please note in the earlier example
of the current information being provided from Optigold for the ICVerify
batch:
"C1","admin","5163","601100467069XXXX","0703","130.00"
the login name isn't here. I understand that Optigold needs a "unique
identifier, however it is my understanding that the id number of (for
example from the above export) "5163" is what Optigold is using to to keep
the transaction unique when imported back into Optigold. I have various
types of accounts billed via credit card that have no login id at all.
Obviously, Optigold can and does use something else as the "unique
identifier" since I have managed to charge the cards on these accounts over
the years and have them imported into Optigold.
So, again I ask, how can I go about pulling the cardholder's name out of
Optigold so that it will be reported to my card processing company during a
batch transaction?
Regards,
Barb
