Subject: Outsourced Salesman
We have recently done a move within the company to outsource our
Salesmen to Re-sellers. We want to be able to give them access to the
OptiGold Web interface, more specifically the Sales interface, to create
clients, check commisions etc. and prevent them access to critical areas
of optigold .. which I see is supported. The problem I am running in to
is when the salesman logs in to create an account, it only allows them
to select one of the 30+ plans we have (Dial-up ultra-light, a
$9.95/month plan), which I have compared our Products list and can find
nothing that would cause these to be restricted. Also when completing
an account signup, regardless of what was entered, an error is generated
reporting Character not allowed in login when no invalid characters were
specified.
I am running OptiGold 3.3.1, and have created an account type called
Re-Sellers, and gave them required access in Security > Groups to create
accounts. Is there something I'm doing wrong or missing? Could the
problem be with the Web Security Database? (salesperson is able to login
fine).
Thanks,
