to either slow down the queries, or to speed up resolution.
For the "70 outgoing connections, 120 second timeout", is that for
SMTP connections or for DNS lookups? I'm guessing it's for the
former. Most likely, for DNS lookups, it's only waiting 5 or so
seconds.
I would guess QuickDNS is resolving all queries, but not quickly enough.
