I agree, I bet he's saturating the outbound link, causing DNS and SMTP
traffic to be slowed, screwing up everything. DNS timeouts is a symptom,
not the cause.
It's very easy to saturate a T-1 with a list server, esp if the server is
sending one recipient per SMTP connection, rather than multiple recipients
per connection and/or the msgs are big (with attachments enabled).
