Disable acting server dialog?From: Jeff Folk Date: Wednesday, May 5, 2004
Time: 6:00:32 pmHello all;
Thought I would ask another question while my last question is rolling
around in everyone's heads...
I want to set up my small Optigold system with two workstations. One is
the web server and acting fileserver. The other to access Optigold and
do the occasional menial task. Web employee machine is running classic
Mac OS (no boos yet, please, I'll update eventually) and FileMaker
Unlimited. Machine auto logs in fine until it gets to the point where a
dialog pops up saying, "This is the acting file server, would you like
to open all files to be accessible on the network?" Of course I do,
that is why the preference to open all is set in the web auto task
employee's screen is set to 'yes, open all'. Most dialogs on that
machine are auto dismissed by OkeyDokey, but this one doesn't work.
How do I get that dialog to not present itself? All of Opti's files
won't open until I click that pesky 'Yes' button...
Help;
Jeff
