telscrpt.exe and SMTP gatewayFrom: Shawn Hogan Date: Wednesday, July 22, 1998
Time: 10:31:04 amOkay, I compiled a new telscrpt.exe file (it's what does the telnet
integration).
And it works properly with BSDI now... But even if you aren't using BSDI
or you don't use the telnet integration at all, I would suggest getting
the new one anyway, because I added an SMTP gateway to it for sending
email directly (without a MAPI compliant email program).
The telscrpt.exe resides on the PC client workstations (so you will need
to replace it on each machine that has the runtime installed), and is
found in the optigold directory.
You can either download the runtime and reinstall it or you can download
the following file:
ftp.data-point.com/pub/dpoint/software/windows/telscrpt.exe
And replace your existing telscrpt.exe file with that one.
