Re: FW: Usage problemFrom: Stuart Clark Date: Friday, May 14, 2004

So how do you suggest I change all of my customers expiry date to the
01/06/2004 and work out how much usage each customer has used for their
month when the usage has already overwritten the usage already billed?
Also please indicate how the below should be setup
USAGE SECTION
Force usage customer into next billing
Usage invoicing delayed when in current month
All usage goes to single invoice
AUTOMATED TASKS 1 SECTION
Import usage is this month
Regards
Stu

The billed usage does not go away if you add more usage to it (you would end
up double billing for some of the usage if it did). The best thing to do is
to bill for the previous month's usage I would think, that way it's a full
month. A problem I would foresee with invoicing as new usage comes in is
the customer would have 30 usage invoices (with presumably very small
individual amounts) if you imported daily and they used their service daily.
