I too get enough e-mail during the day, but I am torn...

I use web based forums a lot in historical information gathering, the
cobalt forums in particular, and I can understand the desire to have
that as an end result to this support list. BUT...

When we first started our wireless ISP, I was delegated the task of
investigating and setting up the billing/provisioning system for our
company. We looked at many possibilities... some (most) more expensive
than Optigold, but in the end, what really sold everyone on Optigold
was this support list.

This community's rapid communication has been a vital resource for me.
When I demonstrated to our owner and project consultant that I could
get an answer to a question/problem in 8 minutes, they were sold on
Optigold no matter what the price. Granted, that hasn't happened for me
lately, maybe I'm asking more difficult questions, but I fear the
interactivity will suffer with a web based system. I have my e-mail
client open all day. When I see a question on this list I can answer, I
do, and I hope I have been helpful when I have. Everyone that has
answered when I call has been helpful to me and I appreciate that more
than I can say. I don't have a web browser open much at all during the
day.

I guess mine is a vote against the web based forum... unless it can
send me the posting via e-mail and accept my replies in a similar
fashion.

Regards;
Jeff
