Thanks for the reply. Hmmm, I'm wondering if this is what I'm seeing
with my DNS server these days.....seems like an awful lot of traffic
is going through it. Am I correct in assuming that recursion can be
blocked with the new version so that only simple queries are
answered? Our DNS server is used not only on our network, but also
by many of our users at home, so I can't restrict DNS to just our
network.

I'll look into upgrading the server to OSX and getting a newer
version of QDNS. Is it possible to simply transfer the data files
from my old version to the new server, or will I have recreate
everything in the OSX version?
