Look, it's not that complicated. Get the BIND 9 Administrator
Reference Manual, or the BIND 8 documentation on logging, and read
about the various logging categories. You should be able to map the
symbolic names used in the documentation with the plain English names
used in QuickDNS Manager's server options window.
Exactly what gets logged to what category, and at what severity,
isn't well documented in any case. Especially for BIND 9. So if
you've got it set to "info" severity level and all categories are
checked, just look at your log file - every message says what
category and severity it matches. If there's anything you'd rather
not see, either deselect the relevant category or raise the severity
level to notice, warning, or error.
Personally, I tend to turn off the query and lame servers categories,
with everything else checked, and raise the severity to notice.
