Web based applications are harder to use? Do you mean they are harder to
maintain? They are different, to be sure, in end-user (human )interface as
screens are refreshed with data, etc. But, the backend ( on the server)
should run principally the same so you could still do "down and dirty" work
if you were so inclined.
