Re: The Future of Optigold ISPFrom: Michael Baird Date: Friday, June 25, 2004
Time: 10:54:47 amThe "official" Optigold ISP forum has moved:
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29
----------------------------------------------------
I mean harder to use, we wouldn't be maintaining optigold's php scripts,
Shawn Hogan would and he would probably ioncode them. I currently run
about 10 mysql servers, and a few postgresql servers, and I would like
to be able to run it via Linux desktops, and also manipulate the data
directly via external php scripts, it would be a good thing for me.
However for the users who don't deal with this, the people who answer
then phone and actually utilize optigold, a web based version would be
clumsy in comparison to the client based version. Have you checked out
the Optigold web interface? I also use Optiskin, none of the people here
will use it for daily optigold operations, it makes them *less
productive*.

MIKE
