Search Again: Slow Server replies From: Nicholas Orr Date: Wednesday, July 21, 2004 Time: 1:57:22 am How do you diagnose a slow dns server? I've got the latest quickdns running on 10.2.8 behind a NAT router with every port re-directed to this one machine. If I do a request from outside my network such as : nslookup://webmail.goya.com.au;querytype=A;server=mail.goya.com.au It takes about 3 seconds to reply. How do I go about debugging this?
