You can get the Sonnet Sonata SD video card which works fine in the XServe G5. We had a similar problem with one of our clients. From time to time they get adventurous and order stuff because they are getting a "good deal" and they always screw it up. In this case they ordered it without the video card and without a fiber channel card. The Apple part for the VGA Option is also a $70 item if you are an Apple dealer. Retail on that item is $99. Not 200 and installation can be done by anyone over age 10. XServes are meant to be administered remotely, either through SSH or through Remote Desktop. I agree though they should have on-board video. If anyone needs a reliable source for Apple equipment and parts email me off-list.
