QuickDNS Central stopped and won''t start

Hoping someone can help me with this....

Had some drive problems and after fixing qdns central will not start up.

When in terminal I get:
sudo /Library/StartupItems/QuickDNS/QuickDNS status
Checking QuickDNS Remote
Running
Checking QuickDNS Central
Stopped
Checking named
Running

Then when entering:
genesis:/ root# sudo /usr/sbin/qdnscentrald -debug -ll5
17:25:51 Error opening file "/var/qdns/qdnscentral/mmUser".

Permissions on the files are system/wheel read/write for all, same as
the other files.
Strange thing is on a port scan 53 is open, but there is no response,
it's like something has grabbed the port. Webmin is also installed, but
the admin claims he's never used the DNS portion of that software.

Is there an easy way to fix this, or even a safe way to reinstall
everything. I don't care about the password at this point, and don't
mind re-entering it, as long as I can save the zones.

Any and all help would be appreciated.... thanks

Rob
