Think of a round robin as a short-lived object. They may have had
the phantom IP address in the round robin earlier and had since taken
it out, but to you the TTL hasn't expired. To you it looks unknown,
five minutes ago it could've been in the round robin. Also try a
reverse lookup to see if the name is meaningful, as it will often
have the real host name.

It probably doesn't help that their NS records for authorize.net are
also set to five minutes , a bit short for stability but maybe a
necessary configuration as they try to mitigate the DDOS.
