BIND 8 or BIND 9?

BIND 8: Make sure ndc is configured properly in conf/user_after. It
should have a controls block, with at least one unix statement
describing /var/run/qdns (within the jail, of course), to which
QuickDNS Remote should have access permissions.

BIND 9: Make sure rndc is configured properly. There should be at
least one key in conf/user_before, and the first key listed there
should be referenced in conf/user_after, in a controls block, in an
inet statement.

When you open the server's Info window, does it show the correct
major version of BIND? If not, make sure there are no statements
specific to the other version of BIND anywhere in the files in conf/.
Or you can specify a version (so that QuickDNS Remote doesn't have to
try to figure it out) in qdns/preferences.cfg - you would add the
following element:

<BINDVersion value="9">

Obviously, if you're using BIND 8, you would use "8" instead of "9".
