Oracle Workflow 2.6.0.0.1 Configuration Fails
I am not an experience user of Oracle 9i 9.2.0.0.0 and Oracle Workflow Server 2.6.0.0.1. I have started to work on a workflow system project by integrating Oracle 9i 9.2 and OWF Server 2.6.0.0.1. I have the following configuration problem that makes me go crazy.
I installed Oracle 9i 9.2 Database on my workstation that runs on Pentium 4, 256 MB RAM and 40 Gb of HD Volume. The installation was very successful. Then I started installing Oracle Workflow Server 2.6.0.0.1 into the Oracle Database using the Oracle Universal Installer. Towards the end of the installation it gives me the option to load Oracle Workflow manually or automatically. I check Yes for automatic configuration to be performed by the Configuration Assistant.
My nightmare now is the "Oracle Workflow Configuration Assistant" fails. It gives the following error mesage:
"One or more tools have failed. It is recommended but not required that these tools succeed for this installation. You can now select these tools, read its details to examine why they failed, fix those problems and retry them. Or, you can click "Next" to Continue".
The problem is I don't know which problem to fix as I haven't done much installtion of this nature. I have even tried manually executing the batch file wfinstall.bat under C:/Oracle/ora92/wf/install but it fails to start up. Please someone save my soul.
