Re: runt packet receivedFrom: Men & Mice Support Date: Friday, October 22, 2004
Time: 12:00:03 pmWhen QuickDNS Server receives a runt packet, it logs it (or not,
depending on the logging level) and discards it. The software should
continue to serve normal requests.
It sounds like this runt packet is also causing problems for Open
Transport. I'm afraid there's nothing to do about this in terms of
configuration of QuickDNS. Either find a way to block these dangerous
packets elsewhere on the network, before they get to the server, or
else upgrade to QuickDNS for Mac OS X.
