If you happen to have set up more than one IP address on the old machine,
IE: web* used one IP and DNS used another, you can remove a few of those
steps. Namely, you will need to remove the IP from the wbe* machine in the
IP Secondary addresses file, add that IP to the new OS X machine. You wont
need to change the registar NS data, and you wont need to wait several weeks
of keeping up the old DNS server.

Generally, any time I set up DNS, I give it its own IP for this very reason.
