Search Again: 10.3 / 4.6.1 upgrade question From: John May Date: Tuesday, October 26, 2004 Time: 6:12:02 pm OK, I've seen a lot of technotes, but am not sure what exactly applies anymore. What I'm doing: Migrating QuickDNS 4.0 installation from 10.1 (Bind 8) to QuickDNS 4.6.1 on 10.3 Server (Bind 9). I installed 10.3 first on the new machine, then QuickDNS, so named.conf looks right. So do I only need to copy over the /var/named/ directory from the old machine? Or do I need to go through the technote about upgrading the settings to Bind 9 then as well?
